About the Role
As part of the MAC Engineering NQ team, your responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial port machinery and crane systems.
-
Commissioning, servicing, and maintaining heavy machinery and lifting equipment.
-
Performing in-depth preventative maintenance checks using the latest software to keep systems at peak performance.
-
Responding to emergency breakdowns with calm, fast, and reliable solutions.
-
Working both on-site and in our workshop, with occasional travel along the east coast.
What We’re Looking For
-
Trade qualified Diesel Fitter.
-
Proven expertise in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and PLC systems.
-
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a talent for solving complex issues calmly and efficiently.
-
A strong commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.
-
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a tight-knit team.
-
Current or ability to obtain Work at Heights, Confined Space Entry, EWP, C-Class Driver’s Licence, and Forklift licences.
-
Ability to obtain an MISC licence.
